Every Norvane piece is printed and finished for you after you order, so total delivery time is production time plus transit time. Both are set out below.
Production time
Orders are typically produced and dispatched within 2–5 business days of order acceptance. Larger orders, multi-item orders and periods of exceptional demand may take slightly longer. You will receive a dispatch confirmation with tracking as soon as your order leaves the production facility.
Delivery times and costs
Transit times below are estimates from dispatch, in business days, and exclude weekends and public holidays. The exact delivery cost for your order is always shown at checkout before you pay.
| Destination | Service | Estimated transit | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| United Kingdom | Standard | 3–7 business days | £4.99 (free over the threshold shown at checkout) |
| United Kingdom | Express | 2–4 business days | £6.99 |
| European Union | Standard international | 7–14 business days | £14.99 |
| United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other listed countries | Standard international | 10–20 business days | £23.99 |
Express delivery shortens transit only. It does not shorten production time.
We currently ship to the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and a number of other international destinations. If your country is not available at checkout, we are not able to ship there at present.
Where your order is made
Norvane works with a network of production partners in the United Kingdom, Europe and North America. Orders are routed to the facility best placed to fulfil them, which is usually the one closest to your delivery address — UK orders are typically produced in the UK, EU orders within the EU, and US orders within the US.
Where an order is produced in the same country or customs area as its delivery address, it ships domestically and no import duties or customs charges apply. For most of our customers, in most markets, this is what happens.
Occasionally an order is produced outside your region — for example where a particular design, size or colour is only available from another facility, or where the nearest facility is at capacity. Where that happens the parcel crosses a customs border, and the section below applies. Your tracking information will show where the parcel was dispatched from.
Import duties, taxes and customs charges
This section applies only to the minority of orders that reach you from outside your own country or customs area.
- Any such charges are set by the destination country, not by us. They are not included in the price you pay at checkout.
- You are the importer of record and responsible for paying them. The carrier will normally contact you before delivery.
- United Kingdom: parcels arriving from outside the UK may attract import VAT and a carrier handling fee. Orders produced in the UK are not affected.
- European Union: parcels arriving from outside the EU — including from the UK — may attract import VAT and a handling fee. Orders produced within the EU are not affected.
- United States: the previous duty-free allowance for low-value imports ended in 2025, so duty can now apply to cross-border parcels even of modest value. Orders produced within the US are not affected.
- Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other destinations: local import thresholds and handling fees apply as set by that country's customs authority.
We cannot predict or control these charges, and we cannot pay them on your behalf. If you would like to know whether a specific order will ship domestically before you buy, email us and we will check.
If a parcel is refused, unclaimed or returned to sender because import charges were not paid, we will refund the price of the goods less our outbound shipping cost and any return carriage charged to us.
Tracking
Every order ships with tracking. Your dispatch confirmation contains the tracking number and carrier. Please allow up to 48 hours after dispatch for tracking to begin updating.
Delivery addresses
Please check your address carefully before completing checkout. We are not able to change a delivery address once an order has entered production.
We cannot accept responsibility for orders lost as a result of an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by you, or where the carrier has followed delivery instructions you provided (for example, leaving a parcel in a safe place). If a parcel is returned to us because of an address error, we will contact you; re-delivery will be charged at the original shipping rate.
Missing, delayed or damaged parcels
If tracking shows no movement for 7 business days (UK) or 15 business days (international) beyond the estimated delivery window, contact us at support@norvaneapparel.com and we will open an investigation with the carrier.
If your order arrives damaged, please email us photographs of the item and the packaging within 30 days of delivery. We will arrange a free replacement or a full refund, and you will not need to return the damaged item.
Carriers usually require a short investigation period before a parcel can be declared lost. We will keep you updated throughout and will replace or refund a confirmed lost order in full.
Split deliveries
Orders containing several items may be produced in different facilities and arrive in more than one parcel, on different days, at no extra cost to you. Your dispatch confirmations will make this clear.
Delays outside our control
Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed. Customs inspections, carrier backlogs, severe weather, industrial action and public holidays can extend transit. Where a delay becomes substantial we will contact you, and you may cancel for a full refund in line with our Terms of Service.
